Currently having four generations on the farm is quite special; we are beyond blessed!

Pam Snelson

Wann, Oklahoma

Memory about soybean farming:

Currently having four generations on the farm is quite special; we are beyond blessed!

Memory about American Soybean Association:

Attending the 1999 DuPont Young Leader Program opened up a whole new prospective on the voice that producers can and should have in advocating for the family farm. There have been numerous opportunities—local, national and international—that I have participated in. A particularly memorable event was my involvement with the U.S./Japan 60th Trade Anniversary celebration, where we held a Women in the Soy Industry Roundtable and Dialogue meeting.

Memory about the state soybean association:

We are so very small that the members know each other quite well and interact like a family, helping and contributing to keep it viable.
