The Ohio Soybean Association was founded in 1966. That same year, it was approved for affiliation with the American Soybean Association.

Ohio’s Princess Soya Teresa Ludwig cut the ribbon for the opening of the 1971 Ohio Farm Science Review at Columbus. Approximately 70,000 farmers saw the over 100 demonstration plots of corn and soybeans during the 3-day session.
